Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. Matthew 22:37-38 (ASV)
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5(NKJV)

As a Nurse, I recognize the complexity of our bodies and how God has designed us, and I continue to be amazed at our lack of understanding regarding the human mind.
What it comes to the MIND, there are questions to be asked!
How does a thought get started in the mind? What are the limits of the human mind? How can people of sound mind be so easily misled? Why is it so easy for the mind to believe a LIE rather than the TRUTH? How can I love God with all of my mind?
Have you ever had a thought and you knew it was not from God? Hmmmm! How did you handle the negative thought(s)? In our Ladies Prayer Group, we pray the (ACTS) format: Adoration ~ Confession ~ Thanksgiving ~ Supplication, Karen, one of the ladies made a statement during her time of confession still today resonates with me. She said, “when the Devil brings thoughts to my mind, sometimes I allow them to stay too long! WOW! I am sure we all can relate to her statement.
The MIND that God gave us was custom-designed to accomplish His will for our lives. It was divinely fashioned by the hand of God to manifest His Will and Purpose for our lives and His glory!
How can you cultivate your mind; remove negative and harmful influences, pollutants, and love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind?
~ As Believers in Christ we have a biblical obligation to cultivate our minds as a gardener – weeding, pruning, feeding, watering, and bringing forth a beautiful garden. Our bodies are God’s temple, and the Spirit of God lives in us! Having the mind of Christ means sharing the plan, purpose, and perspective of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In chapter 2 of 1 Corinthians, gives us some truths concerning the Mind of Christ!
THE MIND OF CHRIST:
♦ stands in sharp contrast to the wisdom of man ~ verse 5-6.
♦ involves wisdom from God, once hidden but now revealed ~ verse 7.
♦ is given to believers through the Spirit of God ~ verse 10-12.
♦ cannot be understood by those without the Spirit ~ verse 14.
♦ gives believers discernment in spiritual matters ~ verse 15.
Are You Spending Enough Time With Christ To Have
His Very Mind In You?

A RENEWED
HEART! God’s Prescription! Romans 12:2. “Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants, what is good, pleasing, and perfect. (GW)
Our minds are transformed by the renewing of our minds. This means that we must be proactive in nurturing Christ-like thoughts (Romans 12:2). This can be done daily Bible reading, praise and worshiping God, fellowshipping with other Christians who encourage you in your walk with the Lord and spending time getting to know Christ Himself through prayer.
Having the mind of Christ means we understand God’s plan in the world; to bring glory to Himself, restore creation to its original splendor, and provide salvation for sinners.
DO YOU HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST?
FATHER GOD, Thank You as Believers we can call You Abba Father! Help us to love You, Father, with our total being, with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind in the Precious, Powerful and Preeminent Name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, Amen!
