How many times have you experienced a divine connection? How many times have you witnessed God bringing people across your path and you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt it was designed by God? How many times have you experienced God intervening and/or orchestrating events of your life?
Divine intervention is, God, intervening in the affairs of His Children’s lives and the affairs of the world. God is Sovereign and yes, He is in control of this world and all that is in it. His intervention can be His causing something to happen or God preventing something from happening.
This past weekend I had an incredible opportunity to be with two of many ladies that were divine connections in my life, Karen Cheathem, and Jodie Mathews. Over 30 years ago while attending the United Conference for Women, I met Karen after being prompted by the Holy Spirit to speak with her after she conducted a workshop. Our friendship and kindred spirits have bonded us over the years. Also, approximately 25 years ago I was introduced to Jodi by another sister in Christ, and being led by the Holy Spirit I invited Jodie to speak at the Women’s Ministry conference at my church. God performed another divine connection between Karen and Jodie and amazing ministry had gone forth because of His divine connection with these ladies. What a mighty God we serve!
God is simply awesome divinely connecting each of us again this past weekend. Spending time with Karen and her husband
and their warm hospitality was simply wonderfully combined with attending a conference at Camp Geneva Retreat Center in Holland, Michigan, where Jodie was one of the speakers. She awesomely blessed our hearts and it was evident that it was God’s Prescription for a wholesome weekend. What undeniable examples of God’s divine connections and intervention?
We serve an Omnipotent and Omniscient God who is in complete control. He knows all and controls all. Nothing happens that He does not ordain, cause, or allow. He constantly moves and intervenes in our lives, even when we are ignorant of it or blind to it. We will never know all of the times and all of the ways God intervenes in our lives. Divine interventions may come in the form of a miracle, such as a healing or a supernatural sign. They may also come in the form of a seemingly random event directing us to go in a way God wants us to go.
From Genesis to Revelation, there are examples of God’s interventions and miracles. In the Old Testament, the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea and the subsequent drowning of Pharaoh and much of his army are in Exodus chapter 14. In the New Testament, One of His most remarkable miracles was the raising of Lazarus after he had been dead four days in John chapter 2. Also, When He calmed the storm in Matthew chapter 8, even the disciples were astonished! “The men were amazed and asked, ‘What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!'”
As Believers in Christ, we experience God intervening in the affairs of our lives. There are irrefutable examples of His divine connections and interventions. God has left His fingerprints on His handiwork. Praise God!
Rx A TRUSTING 
HEART: All the miracles had a purpose! They are to prove that God is like no one else, that He has complete control of creation because He is the Source, and to convince us that if He can do all these miraculous things, nothing in our lives is too hard for Him to handle. He wants us to trust Him and know that He can do miracles in our lives as well.
FATHER GOD: Thank You for showing up in our lives! The atheists, agnostics, and deists must find alternative explanations for Your miraculous works. As Your children, we can testify of Your miraculous works because of the work You did in our hearts. We love and trust You in the Precious, Powerful and Preeminent Name of Jesus Christ or Savior and Lord, Amen!
