The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8 (NLT)
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” Romans 8:14 (NLT)

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not because of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (RSV)
We live in an age where we are inundated with unrelenting offers and appeals to make certain choices or go in various directions. Social media and other media streams find their way into our lives, and we can find ourselves pulled in one direction or another. Television alone with its advertising places hundreds of options before us, not to mention the appeals made by political parties, cults, false religions, and dozens of other groups. Numerous organizations, including Christian organizations, seek to motivate us to support a cause. Then there are dozens of decisions we must make concerning our job, our family, our money, and our society, and we become in much need of some help in making the right decision to help steer us in the right direction.
Where do you go for godly instruction and divine direction? I have shared many times that one of my favorite Scriptures in the Bible is Psalm 32:8 from the New Living Translation. It says, The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” In essence, the God of creation says that I can trust Him with the best direction for my life.
Many today in our modern society seek to be “spiritual” a popular concept today. Being “spiritual” usually means and (not limited to) the person being in touch with his or her own spirit, the spirits of others, and some (personal or impersonal) higher power or spirit that inhabits or empowers the universe. To do this, one does not need to be part of an organized religion or believe in the biblical doctrines about God, sin, salvation, heaven, hell, or Jesus as Savior and Lord.
The Word of God teaches us that our most basic need is not first and foremost that of spiritual direction or getting in touch with our “spiritual self” but it teaches us in Ephesians chapter 2 that we are spiritually dead and our most basic need is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are all in need of a spiritual life that can only come from the true and living God.
The Apostle Paul, divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit penned Ephesians 2:1-6 says: “Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature, we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.
But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved! For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.” (NLT)
The God who gives us life by the His Spirit is the God who created the world and entered the human race as Jesus Christ. Life with Him is only available to those who are raised to new life in Christ through faith in Him. Those who are “raised with Christ” are born again into new life and are indwelled with the Holy Spirit.

Who Is Your Best Source For Divine Direction In Your Life?
God says in Psalm 25:9 “He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.”
1. God, the Holy Spirit is our Ultimate Divine Director! Romans 8:14 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” (NLT)
2. And He will always glorify Jesus! John 16:14. “He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.” (NLT)
3. Direct us to become more like Christ! Ephesians 4:15. “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

If we humble ourselves before God, He will provide for us “Divine Direction” from His Word guided by the Holy Spirit in this journey called life.
Rx “A NEW
HEART”: Colossians 3:17. “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. (NLT). Living for Jesus simply means that your life must take a different direction, one that is responsive and obedient to God’s Word. Are you willing to be led a different way?
FATHER GOD: Thank You for Your Word that reminds us that when we find ourselves pulled in several directions, You will teach us Your way when we stay humble before You, in the Precious, Powerful and Preeminent Name of Jesus Christ! Amen.
