Completing a certification in Biblical Counseling, allowed me to experience an ongoing process of a deeper introspection, thus learning more about myself and my relationship with Christ. One of the books I received on the first day of class was a small little booklet with 22 pages entitled “The Healing of the Mind.” At the end of the class, we had to do a Self-Confrontation presentation of what God through His Word and the Holy Spirit had dug-up in our lives allowing us of being conformed to the image of Christ. Yes, it was painful yet one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
If we think RIGHT, we will be RIGHT. If we think WRONG, we will be WRONG.
The MIND is the most important part of our being, and a deficiency here not only affects not only the entire body but the entire life. The ONLY claim Satan has over your MIND, is what YOU give him. What we think about ourselves have a profound influence upon us in every area of our lives! I would like to share the 4 areas of our Mind that need To Be Healed!
~ The Mind Must Be CHANGED. Until the MIND is changed, a person is unable to lift his thoughts above the pleasures and problems of daily living. The Word of God tells us that our innermost thoughts determine who we are. Proverbs 23:7
~ The Mind Must Be RENEWED. Every Believer must renew their MIND. Romans 12:2a, reminds us not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The renewing of the MIND is a correction that the child of God needs to have a daily operation!
~ The Mind Must Be CONTROLLED. The control of the MIND is in the reach of every child of God. Every negative thought must be refused immediately, and NO consent is given to it. Wrong thoughts are bound to come; however, every thought must be tested. If it is not standing the test of being true, honest, pure and just it MUST me rejected!
~ The Mind Must Be OCCUPIED. The MIND must be the proper objects of thought! A blank MIND produces a passive will, which is one the basic requisites for demonic influences in life. Set your MIND on things which are above, not on things that are upon the earth, Colossians 3:2.
Be reminded, we as Christians have issues; the question is, are we partnering with God to deal with them? It is a daily walk with Christ.

What is in the wells of your MIND will come out in buckets from your mouth.
FATHER GOD: Thank You for being our Father! Help us to surrender our MIND to the surgery of Your Inspired Word and be conformed to Your image, in the Precious, Powerful and Preeminent Name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, Amen.
