“In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 (NLT)
“Logos” is a Greek term translated as “WORD,” “speech,” “principle,” or “thought.” In Greek philosophy, it also referred to a universal, divine reason or the “Mind of God!”
The Gospel of John reminds us that that the “WORD” or LOGOS is a reference to Jesus Christ. In HIM was life, and without HIM there is NO Life. The Word or Logos is eternal and is God!
~As we look into the Logos, it is evident that without a daily encounter with “Living Word -The Logos,” we are open season for an attack of the Evil One! We must read the Logos slowly, frequently, prayerfully, meditatively, searchingly, devotionally, and study it constantly, perseveringly, and industriously!
It is not just any Book – it is a LIFE BOOK because it is alive and able to change stony hearts and transforms lives physically, emotionally, socially, financially, and spiritually.
It is the most remarkable book ever written. It reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of Salvation, the doom of sinners, and the Joy of Believers. Christ Jesus is the grand subject. Its doctrines are holy, the precepts are binding, its histories true, and decisions immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It should fill your memory, rule your heart, and guide your feet in righteousness and true holiness. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS WORD, THE LOGO!

~ Rain and Snow to refresh (Isaiah 55:10)
~ A Sword to Cut (Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 6:17)
~ A Bow for Revenge (Habakkuk 3:9)
~ Gold to Enrich (Psalm 19:7-19)
~ Power to Create Faith (Romans 10:17) and eternal life (1 Peter 1:23)
~ Food to Nourish.
- Milk for babies (1 Peter 2:2)
- Bread for the hungry (Mathew 4:4)
- Meat for men (Hebrews 5:11-14)
- Honey for dessert (Psalms 19:10)
